Reviews of Hotel Du Vin & Bistro Cambridge
We truly enjoyed staying in this hotel, it was modern and luxury. The staff was efficient and we could use wake up calls and ironing free of charge. The restaurant here was good for dinner.
The staff were competent, we had an early check in and a late check-out. The location was ideal and so excellent for walking around Fitzwilliam Museum.
The location of this hotel is fantastic, being on the edge of the city yet still very accessible to the centre of Cambridge. It's the perfect base for exploring the city and its attractions. The staff at the hotel are very attentive and the service provided was excellent, ensuring that we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The rooms have a certain charm and attention to detail, with opening windows for fresh air and a very tempting minibar with a great selection of drinks. The breakfast was included with our rate and it was absolutely delicious, starting our days off right.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.
The units here are stunning and attractive, with a roll top bath and a lovely comfy bed.
I booked a deluxe room with central heating, an iron and tea/coffee making equipment. The facilities were very good and easy to use.
I recently had a wonderful stay at Hotel Du Vin in the heart of Cambridge. The hotel exudes character and is perfectly located for exploring the city. My spacious room had a cozy fireplace and included tea and coffee makers, complimentary mineral water, and toiletries. The restaurant served delicious food and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to enjoy our wine even after closing time. This was my second stay at the hotel and I would definitely return without hesitation.
Can recommend this hotel.
The staff was accommodating and incredible on arrival and throughout the stay. The rooms were luxurious and huge, equipped with a work desk, multi-channel TV and ironing facilities.
Some of the staff were not very friendly.
Nestled in a cozy attic with a small window, this hotel is the perfect base for a few days exploring the world-famous and less well-known sights of this spectacular city. With Kings College just a few minutes' walk away, you'll be within easy walking distance of all tourist spots. The room itself exudes comfort, with a comfy bed and a spacious bathroom adorned with luxurious toiletries. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast offers a variety of options to start your day right. Additionally, the hotel provides excellent internet connectivity and convenient facilities.
The cleanliness of the room leaves something to be desired.
I had the suite, it was immaculate and attractive. A bath was amazing and everything was great. The staff were obliging and the location was exceptional.
Clean and brilliant accommodation. Fab and exceptional location right by the town centre, the restaurant, and the Bistro. Large room. Huge bathroom. Pleasant and perfect staff towards all guests. Great overall experience
The location of the hotel was brilliant - within walking distance of The Backs.
Peaceful location short walk to the town centre, Cambridge, and the Fitzwilliam museum very near to the centre. Stylish classic room, exceptionally comfortable beds. Complimentary drinks at downstairs bar, amazing service.
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with lovely views of the street. The noise from outside was hardly noticeable with the windows closed. The location was superb, with easy access to the main attractions in the city. The fast check-in was a plus, and it was great to be able to get into the room early.
The service at the bar was extremely poor. There was only one bartender who couldn't handle the small crowd, causing long waiting times.
The room was exceptional with a very large comfortable bed. The space in the room was large and allowed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere of the hotel added to the overall memorable experience. The hotel's location, just a short walk away from an outdoor market, was brilliant.
the hotel exceeded my expectations with a large and comfortable bedroom, friendly staff, and a great location just a short walk from the city center.
room lacked children's food options.
